The Great Cities Institute (GCI) at the University of Illinois at Chicago:

 

• Produces Research on Urban Issues: Promotes research on complex issues facing today’s urban communities.

• Serves As A Research Hub: Provides service to the community through sponsorship of community engagement and technical assistance projects.

• Facilitates Ongoing Dialogue: Acts as a convener through educational programs that facilitate community and university dialogue on today’s urban challenges.
